Contemplative practice for CHANGE-MAKERS & CAREGIVERS
We begin with silence, then we live out loud
Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge Socorro, NM 2018
"In all my years of coaching, and in my personal life, I have come to believe that nothing is more important than cultivating one's contemplative life. If you don't have a practice, currently, I urge you to adopt one now. I'm convinced that nothing in the world changes your lived experience, or the lives of those around you, so dramatically." SS
Sara has been coaching for over 20 years. She
began as a communication coach, and in 2011 was certified as a "Holistic Life Coach" in Nashville, TN. She eventually went on to found the ARETE Initiative for Women, which was designed to be one of the most comprehensive coaching programs in the country.

A note from Sara:
I stumbled into a contemplative practice accidentally. Without any book or guide, I was forced to find the path myself, as best I could, and to then articulate and document the journey. It is this experience that informs my work as a coach. (Sometimes, relatively novice practitioners can be uniquely helpful to beginners!) And, of course, in this modern age, we have perfected the art of distraction. So for many people- myself included - getting Still can be profoundly challenging. At such times, an accountabilibuddy (to borrow the South Park term) in the form of a coach can be helpful.
